  11. **  D'BOSS! 3.0 is a unique hard disc manager, program launcher and
  12.     utility system for IBM compatible PC's.  The D'BOSS system allows
  13.     you to EASILY navigate around your hard disc and launch ANY program
  14.     on your system, even WINDOWS!
  15.  
  16.     D'Boss uses NO MEMORY while your program is executing!  Your
  17.     application can access all the memory available just as if you
  18.     had launched it from the DOS command line
  19.  
  20. **  To INSTALL D'BOSS, do the following:
  21.  
  22. 1)  Turn on computer and get to the DOS prompt.
  23.  
  24. 2)  Place the D'BOSS program disc into the floppy drive and log onto
  25.     that drive by entering the drive letter, a colon, and pressing ENTER.
  26.  
  27.                         Example:    "A:" or "B:" <ENTER>
  28.  
  29. 3)  Look to see if you have DB62.ZIP OR INSTALL.BAT & DBDISK1.EXE
  30.     First make a new directory for holding this menu manager program.
  31.     Type: MD DBOSS.  Then change to that directory. Type: CD DBOSS.
  32.     If you have DB62.ZIP, you need to use PKUNZIP to decompress the
  33.     file.  Once in the DBOSS directory type: PKUNZIP A:DB62.ZIP.  This
  34.     will decompress the DBDISK1.EXE file to your DBOSS directory.  Now
  35.     type: DBDISK1.  The DBOSS program will decompress into this space.
  36.     To Launch the program type:DBOSS.
  37.  
  38.     If the disk on the file contains INSTALL.BAT and DBDISK1.EXE, type
  39.     DBINSTAL (floppy): (hard): and substitute the appropriate drive letter, 
  40.     after INSTALL, where (floppy) is your current floppy drive letter and 
  41.     (hard) is the drive where D'BOSS is to be installed onto.  Separate 
  42.     these letter with a space, and press ENTER.

  44.                         Example:    "INSTALL A: C:" <ENTER>
  45.                         
  46. 4)  You will be presented with the floppy and hard drives as entered
  47.     in order to accept or abort the installation and try again.
  48.     Abort by pressing CTRL-C (the "CTRL" and "c" keys at the same time).
  49.     If the drive letters are correct, pressing any other key will accept
  50.     the current drives and begin the installation.
  51.     
  52. 5)  D'BOSS will be launched after the installation is complete when
  53.     you run the installation program.
  54.  
  55. 6)  If you want D'Boss to be launched automatically when your computer
  56.     is started include the following as the last lines of your
  57.     AUTOEXEC.BAT file (if it exists, you'll find it on the root directory
  58.     of your C: drive) :
  59.     
  60.                     X:        (where X is the drive D'Boss is on)
  61.                     cd \DBOSS
  62.                     DBOSS
  63.  
  64.     Feel free to use the D'Boss editor DBEDIT to change or create
  65.     your Autoexec.bat or Config.sys files as you desire.

  68. **  To RUN D'Boss just enter DBOSS from the DBoss directory.

  79.     (DBUTIL.EXE)        for formatting diskettes
  80.                         for viewing the directory tree, and more.
  81.                         DBUTIL can be run from D'Boss or as
  82.                         a stand alone file / directory utility

  84.   TEXT EDITOR         - a text editor which includes COLUMN BLOCK
  85.     (DBEDIT.EXE)        operations as well as LINE blocking.
  86.                         DBEDIT can be run from D'Boss or as
  87.                         a stand alone editor.

  89.   HELP WITH DOS       - a popup menu of DOS commands thru Ver 5.0
  90.                         with complete syntax for each command.

  92.   CALCULATORS         - both Decimal and Hexadecimal which allow sending
  93.                         a tape output to a printer and for temporary
  94.                         storage of results in different registers.

  96.   CALENDAR            - a monthly calendar which includes holidays for
  97.                         1992.

  99.   PASSWORD SECURITY   - optional password to limit access to your system.

  101.   SCREEN SAVER        - screen savers for both text and graphic video
